Rewarding myself has really helped me

Hi all,

I hope everyone is getting through their individual quits ok, it is worth the struggle trust me you just have to keep going.

I thought I would let you all know about something that I feel has definitley helped me through mine (1 month tomorrow :D)

Rewards, rewards, rewards.

I have done a sheet on excel, which counts the days I have quit, money saved and how long I have until I get my next reward and what the reward is of course.

So far I have bought;

1 x Ticket to an England football match - (never been before)

1 x Tattoo I have wanted for years but could never afford

2 x Cd's from Amazon, that I had and loved but were scratched and I couldnt play

1 x HUGO BOSS male pampering set(I know I know big jessy haha), but it goes with my new fresh skin.

Having bought all of these things but not smoking I am still in credit on what I would have spent on ciggies, I have no plans to get anything else just yet but when I do see something like last nights hugo boss set, I will no doubt say to myself well you can afford it now YOUR NOT SMOKING.

I just thought I would let you all know as this seems to have really helped me through my quit and could possibly work for some of you too.;)

I think that thats a great idea, but I will have to admit I didnt get excited at the goodies you have brought your self, but then again I am not a foot ball fan, I already have the tattoo, Hugo Boss pamper kit!!! no I brought the ladies equivelent and loads of, and the CDs would buy any way even when smoking.

My treats have all been clothes and more clothes, and of course shoes as we all need them dont we, so you see we all need treats to help us get through this quit.

I cant wait to see what your next treat will be so keep us informed and well done.

Bioresonance

Hi

I tried 2 months ago in Manchester that bioresonance therapy it cost me only 85 quid, and I'm still not smoking ))) I don't know about the others why so expensive but this one it worked for me.

Great idea

I Love your idea of keeping a spreadsheet. I have done 3 weeks today but have not yet treated myself. I was planning to do this at the end of the first month but I think that your idea of adding it up on a spreadsheet is great as I can have even more treats and not wait so long! I feel guilty spending a fortune on expensive shampoo for example but if I'm not smoking I can more than justify it plus I won't stink of fags any more so everyone else can smell my lovely shampoo. I'm off to do some online shopping, I've got 3 weeks to make up for!

treats are always nice :)

its great making sure the money i used to spend on ciggys goes on something that i wouldnt normally buy ie treats or presents or even rewards as if you just put it in with the rest of your money then you dont see it in the same light i know that most of the money i have saved ive spent on my grandsons but i have treated myself to some things as well :) and smellies are a brill way to treat yourself as everytime you wear and when you smell it it will remind you that its all down to stopping smoking smelly ciggys plus i dont know about anyone else but my sense of smell has gotton so much better more inhanced i guess :D
