once more I am about to let go and start afresh.

I have rolled "the last one" and about to smoke it.

after that no more bad breath, cough, sore throat, feeliing s***e after a sesh', burning money and trapped by "the man".

I am feeling good and ready.

Hey Benj

I'm back on day 1 after a relapse. I'm from Brighton as well. Best of luck - we can do this thing.

I broke in as well. I will start the quit again today. I'm working from home so somewhat stress free.

I'm trying again today too! I haven't cracked yet, put a patch on to help!

Good luck!

Great that you are starting again as well. I have just ordered a Chinese takeaway and can't wait to get stuck in. Smoking is about the dumbest thing I ever started.

Hey Benja

Get back onto your thread. I'm on day 2 and expecting you to be with me on this.

Get the Allen Carr book. 'Easyway' or 'Only Way' and just keep on reading them over and over and over again and I swear you will find your quit easy. I've been reading it over and over and then bought OnlyWay after I had already quit and I'm on with reading that. It's just so crazy when it all sinks in and all you can think is I wish I had read this years ago.

Good luck all. I know it's tough. But it doesn't have to be. I'm on week 5 and it's been a breeze.

A friend of mine had a heart attack this week...He's 34 smokes and drinks but nothing extraordinary. He's ok. But what a shocker. And still I can't get him to read the Allen Carr book??? The reason is that he sees me and he knows that it will work and he is affraid. He is scared that it might actually make him stop. CRAZY! But that is what the evil stuff does to us.

Near the end of day 2. I finished work and got on the train. An hour later before getting off I had a massive craving. I prayed to my HP to save me. I got off the train and went to the cash machine so I could get some money for cigs. The cash machine was broken. Oh well - so I start walking from the station to home. I found another cash machine and this one works, so good, I can get some cigs. I keep walking then by the time I get to the shop the craving has gone. Saved.
