I will have been a non smoker for a week tomorrow!! was just wondering if anyone else had stopped for about the same amount of time, so we could compare notes.

hi baz,

i too have been a week tomorrow.

i have been smoking for 48yrs of my nearly 60 yrs of life.

this week has been good.

i am so desperate to quit, before something major happens.

fear of catching something fatal,is driving me on.

i hope you are a lot younger than me,and make this your sticky quit, dont wait till you are my age,and thank god you are still around.

love ollie xx

Hi ollie,

im 41, great to hear that you've been a non smoker for a week, ive been using patches, and have found the first week fairly straight forward.

I've also been taking slow release vitamin c,along with other natural supplements, drinking plenty of water, and eating regularly with decent food to keep the blood sugar level up.I've done loads of reading, preparing to face my enemy and beat him.

I have felt really tired this past week, so hoping it will soon go, but really pleased with myself and happy!!!!!!
