Hi, sorry to hear you found today hard, I posted something earlier today to someone else about the terrible 3's - Day 3, Week 3 and Month 3 for some these are the harder parts of the quit, but once you have dealt with them you will feel stronger and better, I promise.

It does get easier and it is so worth it, read some of the links, plan your treats, remember why you are doing this.

Stay strong, day 3 is fantastic you should be very proud.

dy 3

thanks for the encouragement Bev, i have just been reading through some of the posts and the one that stuck was about the smell, yesterday when i was out and not smoking somone came beside me who had just been for a cigarette and nomally when you smoke you dont smell it on people but i could really smell it and thought oh my god did i smell like that, obviously i did so that has made me think twice today about all the people who would have thought the same about me. There is nopoint buying expensive perfume when all people smell on you is smoke ugh!!

Hi Dido and well done, remember what your doing is massive and you need to be really nice to yourself. Nicotine addiction is so so strong in fact it is the number one addiction so of course you will feel rubbish, just go with it, let your body detox and drinks loads of water this will help you to feel better quicker.

Isn't it great when you realise you can smmell again! Lush.

The third day is the hardest, but as of today, is the nicotine reduces the symptoms of your system. This can take up to 72 hours, but once this happens, simply end up with psychological problems, no physical problems.

I think you will find that a lot people on here are suffering with physical issues as well as psychological ones....weight gain, depression, tiredness....maybe you need to read a few more threads on here...
