Hi guys

Hope all are well today and feeling good about quit!! I was wondering if someone could advise on stepping down the patches its the end of six weeks and I am due to step down my patch to step two tomorrow! I am feeling very dizzy and im wondering is this because the 21mg patch is now a bit much, I feel out of it- very spacey its awful remember what it was like if you had not smoked in a while - that first ciggerette makes you feel awful (sick and dizzy) - well thats how I feel and I really don't like it!! What should I expect when stepping down will I feel different??

Very interested to know what others think as I have never quit this long before??

Well done Kelu

As to stepping down patches and some advice I'm sure someone will be along soon, as you can see from my sig, I was never as successful as you on zee patches. Do remember feeling dizzy and grumpy, disatisfied and itchy on the patches - not that different from normal then

Hi kelu

You will feel better on stepping down once you adjust to the newer dose, it takes a few days of feeling a little moody, but you will be good & all that sickness will go, I remember feeling sick on an higher does patch on a previous quit...This time i started on the step 2 mainly for that reason..it was like a constant nauseous feeling.:( not nice

You will be just fine kelu & you will feel right proud of yourself when youve dropped your strength :)

keep posting ,let us know how you get on

I have to say that I didn't really notice any difference when stepping down my patches....the only thing I had was when I quit both the patches and gum at the same time...that made me feel spaced out....

:)Hi guys thanks for the replys have to say I feel great today!! only complaint is that the new patch is much itchier than the last for some reason but usual calms down after an hour and aint had it on me too long but dont feel sick or spacey so I am buzzing with joy!!! Feeling healthy today for the first time really since the start of the quit and it is a lovely feeling:)

I am happy today :)
