This coming sat I will have completed my 3rd month of the quit, it doesn't feel strange at all. Just feels natural now. The annoying thing is this last week I've had a headache nearly everyday, and its not dehydration because I drink over a litre of water a day!

You mention that you're drinking 1 litre of water a day, and I'm no expert, but I work on the premise that 5 pints would do for me. I'm not sure how that would translate into 'new money' but I googled up and there was a site that stated 2.5 litres a day as a norm. More if the weather is hot and/or you are exercising.
Give it a go with drinking more water but don't overdo things as that same site suggested that if we drink too much we dilute the essential salts that the body requires. Consequently you can show the same systems for over hydrating as under hydrating.
