Hope you are all doing great, thanks for all you kind support from a earlier post, yes it has been hard with o/h smoking very heard but i feel now that i can see light at the end of the tunnel. It is still causeing a lot of problems at home with me not smoking but i wont let put me back to my bas habbits.

O/h has told me that we have become incompatible now im not smoking ...... that was hard to hear, but sorry i feel better not smoking.

O/h dosent want to stop but like i have said to him its his choice, we have never smoked in the house any way so that is good.

I wanted to pack up that was my choice.

Kay im so pleased for you that you have made it this far I know its been very very hard for us all but for your O/H to put this sorted of pressure on you seems pretty outragous to me. Im sorry to be so blunt but he seems a bit of a ****head to me, and maybe you would be better off with out him. Sorry but that is my view x

I would have to second everything Jack says Kay my lovely.....but good on you for being so strong and not being intimidated into smoking again...

Hi Kay I think you should be proud that you have managed to quit when OH is smoking, I know I couldnt have done that if my OH smoked so you are a strong lady and I salute you and hope that as you say eventually he will decide to also quit, untill then you probably love him so have to put up with it I suppose, well done you any way

Lets be honest, its insecurity on your OH part that he sees your success at quitting to be a massive impact on the relationships compatitibility?

errrrrr no.. the fact that you both used to smoke would not have been the reason you are together.

The chap needs to look beyond the end of his lit cigarette and see the butterfly that you have become here.

I'm sure you have many other things that you did/do regularly that are the reason you are a couple, its just he cannot see that.. perhaps a little bit of jealousy at your success going on here?

I'd probably go out more with him just to ensure you are doing stuff together as a couple, and as far as him needing to have a smoke goes, well you've never stopped him all the time you've been quit, so it should present to much of a problem.
