I have read a few posts on here (some very funny ones)...all I am saying is spongebob 
When I used to put the patches on my arm yes they itched as normal but I did too get the numb dead uncomfortable feeling in my arm later in the day. Some seem to have put them on their bottoms 
which just never crossed my mind. I have been putting them on my upper outter thigh...they dont catch on anything, I havent got any pains in legs with them and they dont itch!
