Hi

Please don't feel sad!! You have done an amazing job and the simple fact is that you didn't have one!!

I have been given up about as long as you and still think about it sometimes. I can spend days without it crossing my mind and then other days I will really want one.

I am afraid that I have a feeling that it may take a while for the occassional craving to disappear completely. Keep up the amazing work and you are not alone with these feelings!

Hel :)

Good Morning Princess and Hel it’s an amazing feat to have stood next to someone who although a friend doesn’t have the sense to see what they are doing to themselves and come to think of it too you as well, passive smoking it seems is actually quite bad for you, I am four months quit now and there are and I think will probably always be , well at least for a while yet the odd little time when I think I will have a fag now and then I realise oops I don’t smoke and even for a second after that I still think I would like one, but it goes and I’m ok for a number of days, but I except the fact that eventually it will maybe strike me now and again for the rest of my life like a person who has to not drink or someone on a restricted diet, if it’s for the better of your health or to give you a better quality of life then it so worth it, we have to remind ourselves over and over again why we decide to quit in the first place.

You should be so proud that the only thing you did was think about it and didn’t have one WELL DONE.

The only thing that is getting to me is the fact that I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tempted.. hmphhhh im sure it will get better with time..

I'm with Jam on this, the only feeling should have is pride in the fact that you did not give in! I am approaching 8 months quit and don't know if I would have the strength to do what you did, so well done, keep it up.
