You've done the right thing by posting your crave. Fingers crossed you've not smoked. There will be times when you encounter massive triggers and the first time you do can be a shock. They are usefull to have in a way though, as once you've overcome one, you know you beat them and any more become easier to deal with. Take it one min at a time. Small baby steps and congratulate yourself on your achievement. Drink plenty of water and try to be positive. Smoking won't make this place anymore enjoyable, it will just give you a nicotine fix. Try thinking that you are giving yourself the choice not to smoke today. Good luck, keep us posted. X

3 more days and you will have been quit 2 whole weeks and how brilliant is that, no body said this was going to be easy but nothing that is easy is worth doing is it, you are doing so well and we all have bad days and without the bad days you would not realise how fantastic the good days are.

So don’t give in we are all proof that you can get through the craves, in fact you are the reason I am coming up to four months, its so I can prove to you that it is achievable the more that I hopefully help are my reason not to smoke again so come on get to the 2 week mark and the next milestone is a MONTH and then you will be coming on and encouraging the ones that are at 2 weeks and saying the same to them that I am saying to you now and you will be able to tell them how you felt.

Keep reading and supporting and getting support yourself xx

You can do it!!!!

Some days are like challenges, visualise your cravings as an ugly little demon that you are fighting, personalising him/her/it will give you something solid to fight against, it sure helped with me...

Other things... drink water when cravings strike, exercise madly... keep hands busy with anything.. gardening, cooking, anything.... decorate your house/room... painting really helped me... and it means that the house doesn't smell like stale fags too.... ;o)

we're all in this together.... dont let us down!!!! :D
