Just thought I'd pop in to say "Hi" and to let you know I hadn't been run over or anything. I'm still on my quit and it continues to not really be much of a challenge. If anything it's...well not anything anymore...I'm just me the bloke that used to smoke. I don't think about it or generally talk about it (hence why I've not really been on here).
I'm still attempting to improve myself generally after 42 months of self destruction. Still going to the gym and still enjoying it. So far in the 3 weeks I've been going I've shifted 8lbs (ish), I have a half decent set of pegs again (so I've been told) and my moobs don't whack me in the chin when I run. I've decided that I'm going to teat myself to a nice tailor made suit and shirts when I've managed another 12 lbs. The plan is to shed another 6 by my birthday in April.
Other than that I've not much to report. Neville's wheel (the hamster) squeaks like mad; he doesn't seem to mind. Jazz (the cat) bought me a frog earlier...Oz (the other cat) bought it back to me after I'd set it free. The rabbits have decided they don't like the wet weather and have been heading for Ozz via the lawn.
I fancy cake...I miss cake....cake was nice....
hhhmmmmm cake.

Sounds like your in a good place and smoking is history and behind you, really pleased for you.
I used to have cats called Jaz and Ozz. Good to see your cats are keeping you on your toes and entertained. Hope the frog finds somewhere safe to settle.
Your guitar arrived yet?
I'd bake you a cake but they have a tendency to turn out like biscuits. Taste good but looks wise?

Jazz woke me up this morning by sticking his paw in my mouth and then wiped his wet nose in my eye socket....at 4:30.
I'm good with biscuits! You cakes sound like my ol' dads Yorkshire puddings.
I try not to let our cats stay in the house over night. They have the conservatory to themselves pretty much with the means to come and go. Meg, if she can, likes to sneak in and hide so as to stay in over night but will wake me up at some un-codly hour by batting my face....... or worse still, sitting on my bladder......... how do cat's manage that?
I've been checking out small festivals and deciding which to go to. Cornbury looks good this year. May have to stay the weekend as both Friday and Saturday look good. Sat esp with Buddy Guy and Dr John.
When do you go to see Joe Bonamassa or have you already?
It's good to hear things are going well for you. I am finding my quit much the same. It is all positives and I am loving my new routine. It is such a relief after so many miserable quits. Your post made me smile.
