That nicodemon does tend to pop up from time to time & give it a good try doesn't he? Imagine him on your shoulder, give him a good shove, rub your hands together. beaten him again
I wish they would put them up to £7 so I could edit my quit meter. We will all be saving even more then LOL.
The unbroken nights sleep from not coughing is..........well I am sure it would be brilliant but not sleeping at the mo. Seriously though, what a difference even days make
Day 5, finding it a bit tougher today but determined to keep with it.
My hubby heard on the radio that cigs could go up to £7 in the budget, thats motivation for me, means we would spend over £5000 in a year.
Already an improvement health wise as I'm not waking through the night coughing.
Going to my sons football tomorrow and can't wait to tell everyone.
Susan
Hey Susan,
Know what you mean about the tuffness today, thats why i thought i'd post for the first week at least knowing it is generally around this time that i fall. But not this time!
What a bonus not coughing at night, you must be feeling better just for having a good night sleep.
Don't like the idea of a price increase, my husband is still smoking like a chimney.
day5 is a hard one, some very strong cravings but I have stayed strong. I am not giving in to that evil nicodemon
can't wait to the day I have broken the mental habit and no longer want a cigarette at certain times, like finishing work
Hope tomorrow goes well for everyone!
I am going to stay away from alchol as I am scared I will smoke if I drink lol. How have others found drinking without cigarettes for the first time?
Hey Pandaspot
Know what you mean about alcohol! I usually stop both when i give up smoking, they just go together! But this time I'm trying 1 drink no smoke anymore then that and i loose the will power.
