I am mostly not thinking of cigarettes now apart from the last 15 minutes after just having my tea. I could do with a bit of encouragement from you all.

Hi Sue, some triggers seem harder to remove than others, maybe you need to think of something else to finish off a meal. I have thought about this and all I can come up with is more food, biscuit, cake, piece of choc  That's why I am now the size of a small bus!

Hopefully someone will have some better ideas.

The main thing is you are 17 days in and not smoking that is a fantastic achievment and I hope you are very proud, I am sure this final trigger will disappear with time.

Maybe reading some of the links will help.

Well done.

Ah! You see, I have an exercise bike in the lounge and once my tea has gone down a bit I get on there and cycle whilst listening to stephen fry talk to me about harry potter! Then I get off, and eat chocolate.... Maybe thats why my belly is resting on the computer table as I type!!

Honestly though, it does sound like a trigger thing. The last ongoing trigger (ie, every day) to leave me was the waking up in the morning one. As that was when I would smoke a good two or three fags. Keep on facing it and in my experience the trigger crave lessons. x
