emotions

3 1/2 months into this quite. I know this is a hard/bad time in smoke cessation.. on the whole things are going well and I am strong..

was driving home from work and saw a special police tactical van pass me. I burst into tears, ( related to my bro death 4 years ago) why now??

been crying at silly things, and yea usual stuff FAT 9 lbs up not good..

I am just venting as I know this is what this site helps people to do....

things will get better soon I know..

keep strong all on here, when things get tough dont give in... these past few weeks I have been so tempted but wont.

Tis difficult, tis tricky, tis sometimes downright sticky.... but Sue m'lovely!

Your fab, lovely, strong and intelligent..... you'll get through this,,, its another passing stage... sit tight, ride it out, and be kind to yourself, take some time out for you....it'll be over before you know it.

I can totally relate to this I have cried more in the last few months than the previous 10 years.

It isn't stopping either, even a soppy advert on the TV makes me well up and then if I try to speak an I am quivering wreck. Also manged to burst into tears at work in front of my new boss...:o

Advice can only be to carry plenty tissues, wear waterproof mascara and carry a touch up kit for your make up....

Bradders did you sort you cats out, the behaviour therapy with mine is working Paws has not had an infection for 9 weeks, this is longest hehas gone since july.

Zozie chicken were are you up to in your quit. your such a star alway helping others, hugs to you xxx

lol yes tissues to hand, most of my tears are when I am alone so not so bad lol... what did your boss say. I am sure non smokers think we are making it up about our moods and emotions.

anyway mates,quite buddies, fellow stressheads ( at times) catch you all soon

bless...he was so taken aback at the tears, oh and the fact I told him I didn't think he was doing a great job, I had the additional member of staff I asked for at my desk within 10 min...saved all the hassle of a presenting a business case.

see...every cloud has a silver lining.....
