Well im pleased to say now starting my month 5 and feeling very smug about it.
To anyone who has just stopped smoking there is light at the end of the tunnel,it does get easier as the months go by, but i will not lie to anyone it is soooooooo hard when you first stop smoking. But it does get better
My O/H still smokes but he has to go outside to smoke at the start it was very hard him still smoking, but now i think let him get on with it, as i no one thing, i have come along way packing up smoking and i have done this on my own without O/H help and support,it has been very hard not geting alot of help but all i can say is thank god for this forum it has been my life saver.
So i would like to thank you all for your help in my quit, also i want to thank Dave my quit buddy who has helped me along the way.
Thanks to you all very much and we all be a lot healthier xxx

Hi Kay
hmmm month 5 you say ....... brilliant brilliant news well done Kay made up for you
Kay, isn't it fantastic once you break free from your nrt.. and you truly start the journey without the nicotine.. you did patches as did i, but isn't it just great without them?!!
Well done on getting here.. and with the sun now starting to appear outside, and today march the 1st (WHITE RABBITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) aint life great!!
you know your journey to get here.. easy and hard.. all mixed together, but what a benefit its been to your sense of wellbeing aswell as your health eh!!
My OH still smokes although he keeps telling me he is stopping but I just shrug now when he says it. I feel like you. It's my quit and he will just have to do what he has to.
