Well im pleased to say now starting my month 5 and feeling very smug about it.

To anyone who has just stopped smoking there is light at the end of the tunnel,it does get easier as the months go by, but i will not lie to anyone it is soooooooo hard when you first stop smoking. But it does get better :)

My O/H still smokes but he has to go outside to smoke at the start it was very hard him still smoking, but now i think let him get on with it, as i no one thing, i have come along way packing up smoking and i have done this on my own without O/H help and support,it has been very hard not geting alot of help but all i can say is thank god for this forum it has been my life saver.

So i would like to thank you all for your help in my quit, also i want to thank Dave my quit buddy who has helped me along the way.

Thanks to you all very much and we all be a lot healthier xxx

Congratulations Kay :)

Amazing, you've done a grand job in staying with your quit.

Good to read that your now finding things easier and can, with conviction, let those starting out know that it gets easier.

I hope you had a lovely weekend and all the best for Month 5 Kay, you'll nail it ........ I just know it

Congratualtions on 5 months.

My OH still smokes although he keeps telling me he is stopping but I just shrug now when he says it. I feel like you. It's my quit and he will just have to do what he has to.

I am 2 days behind you and its great to think I have done 4 months and in my 5th already.

My O/H still smokes but not much, I think he is shamed that I have given up lol! and its outside so it doesn't bother me much.
