Hi Shaun I reckon about 2/3 weeks and you will find a big diference you will taste every thing and do what I did and that was eat for england and put on 7 LB so quickly.

there are a lot of things that will improve over the next few months and you will feel soooo good so enjoy and dont give up xx

Hi Shaun

I'm at 4.5 months quit and to be honest my food tastes pretty much the same as it has for years. My sense of smell is the same too. Both senses are pretty good and I feel I'm lucky in that smoking never ruined either that much.

I never inhaled that deeply or for long and maybe it's paid off :)

Some posts have shown peoples senses if they are going to improve, can vary and can begin to be noticed from just a few days or can take up to 3 months or so to kick in.

A lot of folk get a lot of clearing from the lungs..... debris etc being got rid of. I've had non of that either. Just keep quitt and see what happens over time.

All the best :)

I havent found any change in taste yet either and Ive been smoke free for 7 days today. Maybe we need to give it more time or maybe we had such as good sense of taste and smell anyway the smoking didn't affect it noticeably.
