That's 7 days under my belt and still i feel positive and motivated. This time has been totally different from my other quits, this time I believe I can do it. This time my monster is not bigger than me. This time I will take control and this time I will win. I don't want to spend the rest of my life being dictated to by some pointless addiction, I want my freedom and this time I will fight for it all the way.
Nicodemon can go crawl back under his rock for all I care, because this time I'm kicking his a**!
Wishing everyone the strength and positivity to stay quit forever.
Jenni xx

You know, for once, I'm pretty proud of me too! I feel a new woman emerging who is confident and positive, and I think I like her! You're right Pol, I am going to 'own it' this time. I point blank refuse to be a slave to it anymore.
I'm not saying I won't have weak moments, or times of temptation, but I am trying my damndest this time not to get tripped up again.
The support from this forum is absolutely priceless and makes the journey towards freedom so much easier, so thank you all.
Yes, it absolutely makes sense! Sometimes just reading other people's posts is enough to spur you on and make you think "Yes, I can do that too!". One that never fails to put a spring in my step is Zozie, her happiness is really infectious
There are so many others, people who refuse to let this addiction win no matter what life throws at them, my dear Jack being a prime example. I think that's the beauty of this forum, we're all fighting together.
Glad to hear you sounding so good too, we can absolutely do this this time
Remember Jenni when you make it to three months I'm coming to see you with a big bunch of flowers. And that's a promise I've made it public so now I have to keep it.
