Well i've just done my count down with my daughter on the quit keeper and here I am 1 month as of 4pm. I am so so pleased and proud that I have come this far and my daughter has been jumping around the lounge in excitment.
I would like to thank everyone for there support and encouragment over the last month, I have definately found this forum to be a massive help in my quit and look forward to getting to month 2. I cannot believe I'm in month 1 just want to shout from the roof top but it's snowing heavily here at the moment(hehehe)......
Kazutd - thanks hun for introducing me to this forum and for being there for me on the other end of the phone as and when I needed you for support when times where tough.
Well I'm off now to phone around my friends and tell them that I did it.

That month went quick, blimey. Don't suppose it felt that quick to you but you did it, you got one whole month in ..... well done
How great you had Kaz to ring and sound off with. I had a couple of friends who gave up a few years ago but remember it all very well and were only to happy to provide extra advice and directions to the chocolate shop and the corkscrew
I'm supping on a beer whist cleaning the bomb site that is my study. Been doing the same job now for a day or more...enough's enough though, it has to be done.
I've been cleaning the house all day, made the most of being off work whilst car less, I had to do it as I was concerned about thinking about smoking. I would never have done what i have today if i was a smoker beacuse every half hour I would have been in the garden or garage smoking so feel as though I've done a really good job today, lots done!!!!.
Maybe clean your study whilst drinking your beer, how about that?
looks as though I may have another cleaning day tomorrow we much have had 2 inch of snow in the last 2 hours!!!!
:pAaah how lovely is that post, counting down with your daughter Em,
I know how excited she has been for you... Bless her, so proud of her mummy... Well u know what my friend, so am I too, as u know... Get the "Cash 4 Ash Jar" raided, and treat yourself, u deserve it... ha ha ..
I know u must have thought I was mad showing u this forum between Christmas & New Year, but obviously it took your interest, cos your hooked, lol.... Just like I was at first, and still find it a great help..
Well into month 2 now, and as I always say "Stay Strong & Focused"....
Any time u need anything u know where I am. Congratulations Kaz x x
