Well I have done a week without smoking and I feel great. No cravings and I think the massive mood swings I mentioned yesterday and the day before were related to an interview I have today at 3pm. I haven't thought about having a cigarette at all and I'm so pleased I am nearly at the beginning of week 2!
Keep up the good work all!

Good Luck for today Clare ....but of course you will get the job ...be mad not to employ a determined person such as yourself ....... good luck
Hi Clarebear, well done getting past the first week. It's day 8 for me and it's been quite difficult today, I seem to have starving all day!! I've resisted the temptation to buy chocolate though, just been snacking on sultanas and eating the odd glucose tablet.
I keep checking the forum while I'm at work and I'm finding it really helpful, everyone is so supportive to each other.
Hey Clarebear - do let us know how the interview went. You're doing so well at this stopping smoking lark, very proud of you!
Libby - I'm on day 26 and I've told myself that I can stuff my face with whatever I want for the first month. I think it's just too much to stop smoking and not be able to eat to compensate. I've got another 4 days of "troughing" and then it's back to being sensible and gym training. Well done to you too.
