My Day 4

This is my day 4 today and I keep thinking that it can't be as bad as yesterday so bring it on! I'm going out for dinner with friends and there will be a smoker there going outside so it'll be interesting to see how I deal with that. Determined not to fail though!

Quitting is easy staying quit is hard

Hi just dont think about it UH did I say that LOL

The smoker in your party get close to him and smell promise he will not smell nice and its freezing out so he will stand there for about 3 minutes cold and

pulling all that smoke into his lungs and at the bottom off his lungs is a pool of Tar which will lay there till he stops smoking and if he doesnt stop then you can guess what will eventually happen cant you.

Couple of weeks down the line you will realise what an absolutely fantastic thing you have don not just for yourself but also for everyone around you.

Congratulate your self every day every hour and every minute for your strength and self respect and I also congratulate you

WELL DONE

Onwards and upwards, Angelina...you've got that first significant milestone out of the way - the dreaded 3 day syndrome. Many of us quit CT on this site, so you should be able to get loads of information dug out. Remember to keep looking at the hyperlinks many of us feature in our sigs and read up. That's the key...education and knowledge.

I was out last night - 10 pin bowling and then Avatar. Excellent night...but one of the group was a smoker...smelly or what! He couldn't last the pace and had to nip out for quick smokes throughout the evening. It's great to have freedom from Nic O'demon...not having to rush through meals to get to smoke, interrupt group activities, miss chunks of a movie...to wheeze through another smoke.

Remember to have an exit strategy, diversionary plans and not drink too much if you feel that may weaken your resolve.

But the main thing is...you can do it 'cos many have before you...

Well I had my night out and it went really well!! Was really surprised. I wasn't tempted in the slightest to go out for a smoke even when my friend was going out. And you're right about the smell when he came back into the restaurant! Horrible. I actually felt sorry for him instead of being jealous!

Not what you're looking for?
