Hi Valentine ahhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry if your first few days you have been on your own welcome to the quit family best on the net,

Thanks

Hi Jamagie, thankyou for the support. I'm using a nasal spray and an Ecig for back up, which is great, but the nasal spray is really hard to use, feels like I've been kicked in the head everytime, which means in a good way I'm not over doing it. Well done for 5 weeks, hope I get there, but I'll admit I'm struggling. Didn't really want to stop, but my Hubby stopped [ week 3 ] and I sort of said I'd try, gone to far to back out now, as the kids think it's great. My 4 yr old keeps saying, Mummy don't smoke them fags that kill. Again thanks and well done.

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathising with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

This link is good for the psychological part of quittingwhyquit.com/whyquit/A_Sympt...

Quittings easy staying quit is soooooooo hard

Hi Valentine another day and your still smoke free and thats all you can ask one day at a time

My Granchildren give me a hug now and some of them are teenagers

I asked them why and they are truthfull said the didnt do it cause I smealt of ciggys oops and now I know what they mean when I get a whiff of my Father in Law and he,s a secret smoker and thinks no one knows he,s still at it.

Its not easy I would be lying if I said it was but the benefits far outweigh the loss of smoking

Whenever you feel desperate post on here and if thats not quick enough email or text dont let the nicodemons win xx

Hi Valentine, nice to welcome you and well done getting this far on your own. Like you I was on my own to start with, 3 weeks before I found this forum.

I found it helped me so much just finding out what others have gone through and how they dealt with it.

I saw on my thread you said you saw one of my posts and it helped you to not quit quitting. That makes me feel real good because I have always said if I can help only one person to quit with my waffle I will be delighted.

Not to frighten you but it is a long hard road but don't look back, keep walking forward and you will get there. Even today I'm having to climb over a few rocks and deal with a few potholes but it's a case of keep going and you get through it.

We're all here to help.

Day 8 is a great achievment.
