Day 3.....feeling good.

Hi All,

It's day 3 and I'm feeling the same as days 1 and 2.....fine! I think I must be very lucky as the only withdrawal symptoms I seem to be experiencing is a seriously runny nose (attractive) and a slightly shorter temper when something annoys me. I do keep reaching for my bag randomly as if I am looking for my cigarettes but the minute I realise what I am doing I just forget about it.

How is everyone else doing today?

Well done you are doing great. You will find yourelf going to do what you did before for a little while, the cigarettes were with us many hours of the day for many years but it will lessen. Distract yourself by doing something or reading about the addiction, this will help to remind your head about the rubbish we believed about smoking and keep you stopped.

Hi Clare

I am on day 6 and have a cough and a runny nose. This is good me thinks as the muck and tar are clearing themselves. I think the runny nose is your sinus's clearing themselves, which again is good. My smells improved too.

Keep it up as the first 3 days are usually the worst and you've come so far.
