These two wonderful ladies, stubborn as old boots but lovely despite that, have, out of the Octo's, struggled with their quits virtually every day since they quit 10 WEEKS ago.
They rarely say when they are down as they don't want to risk bringing others down and only when they go quiet do the rest of the Octo Support Group threaten them with visits to their homes and Lornas clipboard, do they own up to their struggles.
This post is to acknowledge two wonderful ladies who, despite each day being not much better than the previous, and some being worse, have got to 10 amazing weeks without smoking. They have nearly crumbled but they haven't.
WELL DONE YOU TWO
It's not easy for any of us, but for you two, its been particualy hard but your still smokefree and you deserve praise and recognition for that.

Pol - thank you so much for the lovely things you have just said. I am near to tears. Love you and all the Octoquits to bits. Dee and I will be with you in the Penthouse!
You have reduced me to tears yet again....... Thanks all for lovely comments about Soosy and I, yes I know I have been a real pain in the arse quitter. I just put it down to 40 years of hard dependency on the nicotine but thats my excuse.
I am trying so hard not to give in and hoping to see you all in the penthouse
To Dee and Soosy. Your honesty in the trials of your quits have helped so many people, especially me. When I thought I was suffering (the poor me syndrome), I would see that there were others having a more difficult time (or being more open and honest about it), and I should just be grateful that my quit wasn't the hell I feared. Well done ladies - you are an inspiration to us all. Thank you so much for telling it as you see it.
Pol & Chrisine - none of the female members are "old boots" - with memories of the slipper debate, I see you all as stylish, sassy and smart shoes. Definately up for a night on the town type footwear. As for us males, well, there's a lot you could describe us as.....

...but we would only ever describe you my love as a pair of very classy Christian Lebouton's.
