If anyone out there would like a reason for not smoking take a look at this
Obviously this is probably not exactly acurate but wont be far off.
I recon since I was 11 untill now 63 I have smoked around 600,000 gigarettes which has cost me around £90,000 it may be more.
So for all you guys who are still young trying hard to quit besides you health think what it is going to cost you.
I'm not proud of this and never will be, I said in my other reasons thread I want to buy myself a 42" HDTV. How many could I have bought with that money.
No nicotine today.

is funny isnt it how we know how expensive it is each time we by a pack, but looking at the amount of money we have spend trying to kill our selves is always a shock... i stopped in 2001 for 18 months and did so much work in the house and still had spare money in the bank.
heres to us all having extra cash to enjoy rest of our lives smoke free, and of course a healthy sweet smelling life

Hey twin, thats quite profound! Happy New Year to you and we will take no notice Jack of those that are whispering about us hun, ok? lol xx Take care xx Everyone - we are just good friends, ok? xx
Jack - you've shocked me. After 8 weeks I figured that was the best part of 1,200 cggies not smoked and I went numb thinking about just that number. 600k is that much harder to 'see'.
What I could have done with £90k over the years.......

Hi Sue you are correct since I have stopped and no longer add them into a small shopping like going into a shop for bread and milk and maybe a couple of other things and you are charged maybe £4 or £5 and you think that would have been over a tenner with cigs added on. I really do notice a big difference.
Jack x
PS better watch what I do with the x's Vivienne might find out.

Happy new year - we dont smoke!
Dave I wonder what 600,000 gigs would look like if they were all pilled up even in packets. Even worse what does £90,000 looks like AHhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Hey Vivienne have they started whispering about us already. It's those people that have nothing better to do with their time now that they don't smoke. Maybe they should go and join a no smoking forum do you agree.xxxxxxxxx
Nosey people xxxxxxxx Don't worry about them sweetie, just cos' they don't have a twin.
Seriously Vivienne you have a great smoke free new year And all being well we will be in the penthouse together next year at this time.
Hiya Jack, sweetheart! Yes, we will ignore them all and as you say, if they have so much time to spare then they should join some sort of forum!!
Wonder what mischief we can get up to in the Penthouse? They keep it very quiet what goes on in there you know. Look forward to seeing you in there this time next year, I will be there first, so will I choose us a room, errrr ummmm I mean a table!! blush! blush!!
Watch what you are doing with themX's Jack, with lots and lots of love from your Vivienne. xxxxxxxx :D:D:
its the crazy thing about smoking (when we actually did smoke that is), how we would always seem to find money for cigarettes, even if it meant going without something else. How sick was it that while smoking we were always complaining about how short of money we were, yet the root cause of it was us spending over 5 or 6 UK pounds per day on those things.
My wife was just saying tonight that if I was still smoking being snowed in and can't work over the last few weeks, where would have I got money for Cigs. If I was smoking I would have more to worry about.
The worst thing about smoking jack is that you'd have budgetted them cigs in and other things would have made a sacrifice.. its a crazy thing addiction is.. better to be free than to be in the middle of believing all the lies the demon has to say.
I,m bringing this back up because I believe that since stopping I have saved £236.73. Unfortunately because I have not been working I have not been able to put this away. But once I'm working again I will get that money together plus whatever else I have saved by then and soon I'll buy my 42" HDTV
Hi Jack, Your so right, we would find the money, so we need to find the money to treat ourselves.... Have u seen my list of things I have treated myself to since March, on my thread 10 months yesterday... Its amazing when put in writing.... Keep up the good work, u have done so well Kaz x
