Hello there, good news to hear and in a few days you will be able to say you stopped smoking last year. You know the drill but if you have forgotton we will for sure remind you. It's real clear to us that you want to do this so come on lets get it done so we can celebrate your year of success in 2010.
best of luck with your latest quit im sure you will do it this time stay positive, i have forgot the number of times Ive tried to quit in the past put im sure if we keep trying and keep learning from previous times we will get there.
That's what I want 2010 to be for me. Never smoke again, lose weight, get fit. I don't want to repeat this years ill health & it's in my hands & my hands only
oh gaynor, i have quit so many times i stopped counting because i became embarrassed. this is the one for you, you know that now, 2010 is a smoke free place for us.
keep it up, remember when you feel like smoking come here post and wait for at least 5 responses before you do anything.

sending you some PMA.
Thank you Bev.
I feel good about the coming New Year so everything crossed
My biggest concern is going back to work. I have 3 days to do the month end, my manager is such a flappy, stressy, dis-organised person & she is completing the month end on her own as FD away. We are all dreading it.
I know in my heart of hearts that having a cigie will not make it any better or go away but I know that is going to be a real test for me. Think I may have to sneak on here for support (not supposed to use 'tinternet at work) if I feel like I am going to cave in.
Anyway, still have a while before I face that & I will not lose a quit because of her again!!!
If at first you don't succeed destroy all evidence of trying in the first place and start again.
Don't think of failed attempts just work on this one.
I'm having a bad day today (day 27) but I know now I never want to stick one of them things in my mouth again or put smoke in my lungs. The thing to remember which I have used right from the beginning (2nd December) is it was my decision to stop.
Go on you'll do it we're all behind you.
BTW I'm cold turkey, by that I don't mean left over from Christmas.
Sorry you are having a hard day today. Just remember that you will get through this & it makes you stronger for the next time, if you have one, when you are finding it difficult.
Day 27 is brilliant going
I am looking forward to being able to get to the top of the stairs & not need to sit down as I am so out of breath. Also not to have that cough keeping me awake at night. Last time I stopped (properly) all that improved really quickly. Have had a few 'moments' this afternoon which where the times I would normally have gone for a ciggie so have felt a little like something is missing (which it is) but in a good way. Haven't asked hubby to get any for me on way home so all good
Not thinking of failed attempts is a good point to make, this is the one that counts
Hi G, sorry don't know you name. After only 3 weeks (god just realized 4 weeks tomorrow wow) my lungs are clear in the morning, no coughing during the day, smell has returned (not so nice when you go to the loo) LOL, food tastes great and over the last few days I've had to dig my car out, walk for miles UPHILL and crikey what a difference in that short time. I'm discovering I can do all those things again.
It's a great feeling just to know you've made that decision to stop. so stick at it not because we are telling you to but because YOU want to.
I will stick to it Jack, even though I have just had a screaming fit at inaminate objects in my kitchen & turned the air blue. Just as well my hubby is not home yet!!
Gonna do a bit of reading on why quit I think & calm myself down
Good luck this time , you have done it before and you can do it again . This is probably your best chance before going back to work.
Go for a walk , enjoy taking the clean air into your lungs instad of all the poison that you really DON'T want.
Just give yourself a fair chance at quitting once and for all , never take just one puff and after just a couple of days under your belt it will get easier.
