8 Months Today

Hi Folks ,

Today is 8 months since my quit and I managed to sail through Christmas without any desire to have a poison stick :eek:.

Oh well two thirds of the journey to the mystical land of the enchanted penthouse covered so far and looking forward to next 4 months.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone and I wish you all a successful quit.

ahhhhhhhhhhh lovely!!! 8 months and christmas day/boxing day done too.. thats perfect.. settle in and ride through the new year bash too and your on a home straight. Don't let your guard down though, i know you won't, but just mentioning anyway.

A huge thank you to everyone of you that replied to my post . Your kind words are very much appreciated and most helpful in my effort to overcome the Nico demon .....who is well and truly getting his ass kicked big style .

I bought an absolute bargain today , Allen Carrs book "easyway to stop smoking" even after 8 months of being smoke free. If it just helps to reinforce everything that I am striving for it will be the best three quid that I ever spent . It was on offer in "the works" bookshop reduced from £8.99 to £2.99 so if there is a "the works" bookshop near you it has to be a great bargain and a useful tool.
