I have been on a road trip with my youngest dog for the past 10 days. The drive yesterday and today have been really bad and since I arrived home, I have been having a hard time. It's almost 2 month for me now, and I don't understand why I feel like I'm on the edge of starting again????

I have read so much in the last 3-4 months that some things are starting to run together. One train of thought addresses the hurdles that come in threes. I have read of the the hurdles that come in sevens. Maybe you are a seven person. I had a period of trouble at the seven week mark.

The thing I would like to suggest is you have dealt with the withdrawal cravings AND the psych cravings. This is nothing you have not seen and dealt with before. You have the experience to ride this storm out. I know you can do it. Hang in there. Take a bubble bath, or a walk, or something soothing.

Hi Elisabeth :D

I hope you're trip was good except for the last 2 days but sorry you're craving again at almost 2 months

I had a really bad day at 7 weeks as well but I came here and ranted and raved, then phoned my Son who is 2 months ahead of me and had another good moan

After that I felt better and the next day it was gone and I have never had a really bad day since then

Keep going like all the other craves it will pass the Nico  Demon is just having a go trying to lure you back again

Love

Marg xx

Re read Allen Carr- might get you back to a more positive mental place? I find him very inspirational, and very realistic. Hope you get back to a better place soon, it can't be fun getting so far then feeling rubbish!

I agree with DeeDee, re-read your book. You could also read from some of the websites suggested on here and look at the posts around your time to see how others coped. Distraction is another idea go do something to keep you busy. You are nearly at 2 months is would be such a shame to go back and have to do it all again.

Hi Elisabeth, welcome back hun

A road trip for 10 days I'm surprised you are still with us talk about pressure....what a star you are managing to get through that, you must be way proud of yourself.

Re read your book sweetie, it will reinforce your resolve.
