If you are looking for support this is the place to be. You did not say what method you are using to quit. Knowledge is a wonderful ally in the quit process and this forum can get you a great deal of it. Good luck and congratulation on setting a start date.
Just wanted to wish you all the best with your quit. Don't beat yourself up over your previous 18 month quit.. you did really well on that one, and you can again.... keep your mind focused, and never stop being proud of what you are doing here. Quitting can be difficult, you've done this before so you know what i mean, but you have also see the remarkable difference between how you are now and how you will be in as little as weeks or even just days from now.
So good luck.. and don't be shy when it comes to posting on here either.. sometimes its just great to get stuff down in text.. and later on in your quit you can look back on you early posts and truly realise just how far you've come.
Heres to you, and your quit, and a smoke free christmas season and beyond.
Well done both of you for your decision, I made the same one 23 days ago, so still a newbie here myself. As others have said before me, read as much as you can, learn as much as you can about this wretched addiction and this forum is just "awesome", could not have done so far without the help of my mates on here.
Hey Sue, am so sure you can do this! You'll be great. It's a huge yet wonderful decision you've made- and as to feeling bad about a failed quit, hey, you are not the first! But, if you have really decided that enough is bloody enough, then you can do it. Will be thinking of ya, and sending positive thoughts your way. Nicotine is a hideously addictive drug, but we can all beat it if we really want to. XX
