Thanks to you all, your comments mean so much.

The support of everyone on this forum, as I have said before, has been an integral part of my quit. It has distracted me, entertained me, informed me. It has kept me on the right path when I have felt close to wandering off. And it has been so good to share experiences, moans and laughs with such a great bunch.

It really does feel like the time goes by quicker with each month - and it does feel like it's getting easier too. So anyone at an early stage, take some comfort from that.

What I do know for certain - I have rarely made any decision in my life as good as the one I made that day, when I finally decided to quit.

So - all strength and congratulations to everyone who has made the same decision, whatever stage of your quit you are on. Keep strong.

Many thanks for your kind wishes and congrats.

Pol, The funny thing about them film clues is that it is so hard to guage the difficulty of the clue, especially when you know the answer. For me they have been a welcome distraction and a bit of fun. And of course Manny has pointed me at so many films I didn't even know existed...:rolleyes: But just join in and have some fun. The more the merrier.

Greg, I know you don't post so much these days, but it is great to see you still going strong. Are you still driving your rig round those beautiful lochs and hills?

Mah, tis good indeed to be at 8 months (and a bit!). You will be too. Just keep choosing each day not to smoke and you will get there - and way beyond.

Thanks everyone for your support - there have been many many times when that has been what makes the difference and makes it easier.

Greg, those pictures are stunning, thanks for sharing. I find it hard to believe that I used to go to places like that and admire the view through a haze of smoke.:eek: Not any more, I am happy to say.
