We seem to have lost a couple of victims, oops I mean fellow quitters so can we have a roll call my lovelies as neither Sue nor Pol have received any holiday forms for the missing Octo (JJ & Jack come to mind) quitters.

sammie is next due in Month 2 and I haven't seen or heard for a while;
Also, anyone know Demay?
Everyone who should be in class (I mean, month 2) is there. And I think everyone else has been sighted somewhere in the playground (I mean, forum) in the past week.
I'm still here, going through a stressful time at the moment with my daughter being in hospital but surprisingly I've not even thought about turning to smoking.
Mike - Of-course you can my love!! Welcome, however there is a small charge of 3 bottles of red, 2 bottles of Baileys and some beers (for Dave!!) and no we do not have a drink problem (hic).
Dave - How exciting, 4 weeks!!!
Well done Daz and I hope your daughter is OK sweetheart.
Sue - check the playground again, especially behind the bike shed:rolleyes:

Dam, at least I wasn't having a sneaky smoke behind them this time
Mike, welcome to you. Daz, Jack and Dave will welcome some more male company. More curry less cake talk/eating. Do not give the wine to Christine:mad:
Daz, good for you. I think the fact that you've not even thought about them at this time is brilliant. Not surprising however. Some things are much bigger and important than smoking. Hope all well with your daughter and she's back home with you all very soon.
Thanks everyone, I've just had word from the doctors that she can come home today, She had an Alergic reation to toncilitis believe it or not, Her face was all swollen and blotchy poor lass.
Its gone down over night and she is coming home today.
As far as the curry "V" cake issue I'm a curry man allllll the way, the hotter the better for me, washed down with a nice glass or Rioja Reserva mm mmm
Hi, That must have been a shock for you....and your daughter. Pleased she's on the road to recovery now.
When you say 'hot' - have you ever gone for a 'phal'. I was with a friend once who ordered one, I tried a tiny bit and think I must have drank a gallon of water afterwards!
I've had the "Phal" Once, when your eating it you get to a point where you cannot taste anything as your mouth is "On Fire" I tend to go for the Vindaloo as that satifies my need for the chillies.
Here in Hull we have just had our first Indian all you can eat buffet open, £9.95 for as many courses as you like so you can imagine now that I'm not smoking and have the appetite of an elephant they dread me coming through the door lol.
Hi all...still here not smoking but my head is in an awful place at the moment so I'm just hibernating for a while. Can't make up my mind if its the Champix or quitting smoking so I'm off to the doc's Friday.
Great to hear that you're still with us, not so great to hear that you're going through a bad time. Champix can affect moods, unfortunately it's one of the side effects. It's good you're going to see your doctor. Maybe they'll think cutting down on the doseage could help.
Stay strong, we're all thinking of you. Post whenever you feel like or need to rant or moan.
Take care - and keep in touch, we're all in this together
Got the unltimate test of my resolve soon. From thursday till monday im visiting my parents AND the GF has just told me (how can i put this politely) eeeeeeerrrrrrrr she is unwell !!!!!
Though, as Sue mentioned, think we've lost Sammie whose not posted since 6/11. Her joining date. Hopefully Sammie will come on site and give a great update.... probably we'll never know
Hmmmmm, these figures are not far out ..... +/- 20 at most.
Collectively (from those who have posted in the last couple or so days) the OctoQuits we have clocked up approx 993 smoke free days and based on an average of 17 smokes a day, not lit up and stubbed out over 16.6k smokes.
That figures amazing, as I have just said in Octoquits message I have downloaded quit Counter which keeps track of all the figures on your screen, have you got it ???
You are a great, strong group, it's smashing to watch you achieve the milestones, keep supporting each other and you are for sure all going to make it.
