Ok, I've hoovered the Red Carpet and I've restocked the bar. The ice is in the freezer and the nibbles will be arriving at 8am.

Now then, big big welcome and round of applause for.........JJ69 definitely on her way here, any moment.

And, due to extenuating circumstances, I understand that Christine will be making an appearance later on in the day rather than miss her Friday 13th entrance. We'll save you a large one.

First of all I'd like to thank all my family and friends who have given me help and support to get this far, I could never have done it without you! When I was a struggling smoker I used to see others on the red carpet without a fag and think 'one day I'll be there too', name up on a forum, applauding friends and the champagne freely flowing.

Right, enough of that shite...where's the booze, cake, chocolate, and deep fried mars bars!

The funny thing is, time wise a month is actually nothing BUT to us it's just such a major achievement. I'm very proud of you my love.

I've finished my work (almost), washed the dishes, tidied up..and have checked that the sun is so far over the yardarm it's gone away. Surely must be time to open the bar. Off to find a nice glass of chilled rose to officially raise to to JJ.
