Day 10 over

10 days is new territory for me - I've never managed this before. Feel ok except very tired and lethargic. When does the energy come back?

I see you're a Champix girl like me. I'm not sure iof Champix is directly responsible for your tiredness and lethargy. With me it was indirectly responsible.

I was having such weird and vivid dreams - that they kept waking me up several times and then I'd be confused as to whether it had happened or I'd dreamt it. Upshot was for the first month on Champix I don't think I had a decent night's sleep - and was therefore dead tired all day.

Once I felt I'd got the smoking under control with Champix I cut out (others have reduced) the evening tab and that really helped me. I definitely have more energy not smoking than I did smoking. You've just got to get through the transitional stage.

I'm on day 5 and also feeling rather tired. I am on holiday for a week and supposed to be catching up on housework, but I really can't be bothered. I've seen houses in worse states than mine so I don't care. The tiredness seems to be a common symptom on this forum so I'm pretty sure it's normal. If you are in the UK, then you'll notice that it is dark for a lot of the day and I think that can contribute as well.

Well done on day 10 and the double figures milestone just keep going

It just keeps getting better and better the further you go

The tiredness is normal for most of us and it doesn't seem to matter what we used to help us even CT people have said they feel really tired but it passes Promise

Thanks for all your replies. I do already feel better as I am asthmatic and that has greatly improved over the past week.I will look forward to a burst of energy at some point.

Day 11 now. This is exciting!
