Two really good and valid videos, thanks

I feel the need to point out that people may pass on "medical" advice, around here that may not be accurate. I would please ask anybody who is reading medical advice here, to check with their GP's first, and anybody giving advice to be very sure of their facts before posting.

Thanks

Ouch..i have had a P.E and its the most painfull thing i have ever gone through.

I would rather be in labour than have one of those again! Ive also had 2 blood clots on my legs but they wernt so bad.I was warned and warned about carrying on smoking but these events happend 10 years ago. I had a dream tho that i would reach my 40th birthday if i didnt quit.Only 2 years away so i kew that fags had to go once and for all!

I've managed to survive 3 PE's over the past 3 years...they're not nice!

Pe

Guys, I've never talked to anyone who had PE too! I've had one 7 years ago, which made me quit for 4 years, then started smoking again 3 years ago duh!

I'm really scared that I could get another PE, especially since I am planning on getting pregnant sometimes soon, but am really scared! I guess if you've been unexpectedly close to death like that once it kinda stays with you..

Didn't stop me from starting smoking again eventually tho! But I've quit again now (well, yesterday). It goes to show, you can never let your guard down with nicotine! It will find its way back if you let it!!

Anyway I'd like to talk about PE more with you guys, it would do me a world of good!

I think I'm one of the lucky ones as I'm on life long anticoag now. I say lucky, I don't have to worry about another PE, instead I can't drink too much, am advised to not play football or rugby, can't snowboard, pay a fortune for holiday insurance

Getting surgery's fun also! So far I've spent a fortune seeing heamotologists as I need a spine fusion.

I think the key is did they find a cause for your PE?

Ah heparin jabs. My wife loved those as they turned my tummy aubergine in colour...I matched the living room wall paper.
