Pretty sure i've read of a number of folk getting this.. bit like a racing heart after it slows down a bit sometimes.

I guess your body is adjusting and repairing since you cut the supply of nicotine.. lets hope this passes soon. Don't worry about it as the worry and stress will probably make it worse.. you are already doing something fantastic for your health by quitting smoking.

Hiya - I used to get heart palpatations when I smoked it was just one of them things the drs said and I will always have them and I am getting them now as well. The thing to remember is not to panic or stress yourself out about it as this will make things worse, I know its a lot easier said than done as it feels like your heart is coming out of your chest, just breathe through it. Take a deep breath in and slowly out, do this a couple of times and you should feel them slowly going away.

Your body is just adjusting, I have had tremendous headaches for couple of days but I know that they will go away.

Your doing really well.
