woo woo Day 7. This is the longest in my adult life that I have ever gone without a cigarette (and a drink I might add....too scared to drink yet...triggers and all that). The weekend was tough though. My bf and I had such a bad argument. It started with something to do with not emptying the sink and escalated to me telling him to move out....Obviously all was forgiven later Tensions are high with both of us quit. I think he's finding it tougher than me. Last night after dinner he was pacing around and saying he was off out to buy some. I managed to reason with him and stop him though....I think he may smoke today though and try to hide it from me
Day 7- I'm here!!!: woo woo Day 7. This is... - No Smoking Day
Day 7- I'm here!!!
A whole week
Well done you a whole week, that is an amazing thing.
I can't imagine what it must be like in a house with 2 people quitting at the same time. Just remember that you are responsible for your quit only and although you both should support each other you can't stop someone else smoking you can only stop yourself.
I am completly with you on the drinking thing, (i think you responded to my previous post). drinking just makes me want one all the more, but as long as i don't have any in the house there is nowhere to get some from round here (that would be middle of nowhere).
Are you treating yourself now you have reached a week? maybe you and your bf could do something really nice together?
Absolutley fantastic!
Well done you! 7 Days is a fantastic achievement, I am on day 4 and it feels like a month already lol!! you have done really well not to have one as I know upset and stress can be a trying time, as I am sure thats the usual time you would reach for the fags...
Well done, you are doing fantastic, you shiould be so proud of yourself! I certainly am!! xxx

You're right. If he wants to smoke then i should let him. After all nobody has been able to make me quit before. I guess it's something an individual has to really want to do....He will be banned from smoking in the house though. I've only just got rid of the horrible fag smell from everything.
Think we're going to treat ourselves to a lovely meal out on Wednesday and catch a flick at the movies... and I bet we'll still have some money spare.....I'm thinking new shoes for me
