Hi all,

I'm battling with day one.... well more like wandering around aimlessly because I feel a bit lost! I'm quitting nearly cold turkey. Just the odd puff from an inhalator to stop me killing anyone! LOL

I have been quit for 12 hours, 44 minutes and 17 seconds (0 days). I have saved £1.64 by not smoking 13 cigarettes. I have saved 1 hour and 5 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 03/09/2009 23:59

best of luck, keep yourself as occupied as you can, and remember, .. a craving will pass, just take each of them as they come and get through them as best you possibly can.

Just don't succumb to the urges for feeding the habit, and do you best to fight them off.

Deep breathing helps.. drinking plenty of fresh fruit juice too. all good stuff.

You got this!

Hey congrats on the quit! Now get your mind out of the gutter and on with your life! You are a new man with one less dependency. My advice is try to be very active. Go play some sports or work out. By sweating it will feel like your body is being cleansed and the toxins removed. It may help to remove the nicotine from your body quicker as well. My biggest tip for you is never let addiction control the way you feel. Don't think of it as not getting your fix for the day, rather look at it as the day you realized you are strong I dictate your own life. The only other advice I can give you is go out and enjoy every day of being a non smoker. Just think, your lungs will function normally again. Go out for a little jog, you actually are on your way to getting your health back. In my opinion it was the greatest feeling in the world when I could wake up, go work out, and then just see everything so clearly.
