Yeah was having a grumpy moment as I chewed gum and squeezed my stress ball ;-)

It HAS to get better, otherwise hardly anyone would ever quit, so there's no going back!

Good luck to you as well!

Put it this way chaps, compared to the lies that the addiction has had you believe.. i'd be more tempted to believe the folk who are several weeks down the line, and in many cases months.

I know for sure that sometimes where you are all you wanna do is yell 'arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh' just for the heck of it, you'd probably kick the cat for lookin at you funny right now is the truth right? :)

Well, on the whole, i can say at only 5 weeks and a few days, there is a world of difference between how you feel at 2-3 weeks and how you feel at 5.. and if i spoke to someone right now another month on from me.. or 2 - 5 months, i would hear widely contrasting stories, each one getting better n better. I get the odd day now, but its not every day.. in fact in the last 5 or 6 days today (monday) has been the only day where i could say i've been a bit off-key. Nothing like the early days tho.. definitely doable.

The trouble in the early days, is you just haven't had that moment yet where you can see it for yourself. So keep believing the folk who have gone some distance and if you don't take my words at week 6 as encouragement, read some of the folks stuff from month 3-4 or longer.. i have, and its helped me tons.

Keep it real, grit yer teeth, and no matter what, keep everyone up to date how your getting on. Just do not give up giving up.
