Know what you mean, the physical craving is gone but at the same time everything feels slightly off and that could be made right by a ciggie. Don't give up, keep going it will get easier, thinking of fags less and less. Generally only when alcohol has been consumed now.
Well done for your 3 weeks and keep strong in your fourth. Soon it'll be a month and then......
Hia
Well done for getting to week 4 - nice place to be!
I did what you are doing - tormented myself with the I want one/I don't want scenario. It was awful - so I gave myself a good talking to! I know that sounds silly, but it worked. You have to settle the monster. I told myself that even if someone came around the corner and handed me a load of ciggies I wouldn't smoke them, so why keep worrying about it. I didn't want one, wouldn't have one, so get over it - move on.
All I can say is that it worked for me - might be worth a try!
Good lord, if you got through week 3, then you got through week 3.. pure excellence!!
Week 3 is dodgy week for many, well done on the survival tactics
and to quote monty python..
ALBATROSS!!!!!!!!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to fags
try what i do, you wnat onew, it's not a physical crave, its a mental one.
Say Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Not being funny - it's helped me. You have to mean it when you do it though
