At the start, I never thought I would get to 11 days!
I looked at some of the other posts on here and 1 month free, 31 days, seemed a long uphill battle, and I guess it was looking back through my quit diarys. But now, it's only 31 days to the penthouse - to my first year smoke free since I was 12.
Yay!
Keep it going folks, whether you've been quit 5 minutes or 5 years.... a smoke free day is a great day!

Conragtulations mr clever! You thoroughly deserve it. Another of my 'inspirations', If nothing else, I shall be standing by in a months time with trumpets and strumpets and crumpets waiting to celebrate your penthouse entrance! x
Although it seems like the early days were quite the battle, and sometimes the pressure/cravings would cave you in, you persevered , and here you are now at month 11 done. Thats amazing
At 11 minutes you were drumming your fingers on a desk...
At 11 hours you were watching the clock still drumming fingers on the desk..
At 11 days you were drumming your friends that quitting was a great move to make.
At 11 weeks you were looking back at nearly 3 months of being quit and drumming in what was looking like a successful quit.
Well done on your 11 months. Only 31 days for you to get that dance rehearsed and on You Tube, can't wait to see it and you in the Penthouse on 12th September.:D:D
Thanks everyone, the support and help of this place is what got me through the tough time - and it still is a huge boost
Congrats Stu, can't wait to be where you are, what's the view like? How's the readjustment?
The view is great, seriously - it's like having a new pair of eyes, it's not an over exageration to say that you start to look at everything differently from trips out (not having to plan everything around making time for a smoke) down to what to wear (enough pockets!).
Sounds stupid, but it's true and fighting this awful addiction has made every aspect of my life better. It's brilliant and the only downside is that I was so stupid for so long
The readjustment is ongoing, I still have the auto response of "I'll just have a quick fag" every now and again.... in situations that I don't experience very often.
It's not a crave, just a mind trick but it could catch me out if I didn't have one simple thing engraved on my mind.
