Made it this far

Well i made it to day 2.

I've been climbing the walls and chewing gum... I had a major test of will power, it must have been planned to test me lol

I broke my key off in the door lock and spent the next 2 hours getting stressed / angry and wanting a cig to calm me down, but I thought to myself no stick with it.

Thanks for the tip about the mint after lunch helped a-lot :)

So here I am :)

  • we all just need to get used to dealing with lifes stresses without the crutch we got used to relying on.

    Trouble is, nicotine creates this false illusion that they help in such situations, when really they don't. Not one bit in fact, they make it worse. You should be able to function just nicely without them.. and thats what you will be practicing as part of the quit.

    I feel quite good today had a few cravings but just been chewing gum, drinking water and concentrating on my work.

    Really well done getting through that on your 2nd day it was a really big test to get through but you did it

    Take it day by day even hour by hour if you have to
