Well, finally got there and completed week one.
Doing great today.
Just wanted to say without this site, probably wouldn't have got this far. Going from strength to strength now. Thanks to you all.

Welcome to Week 2 Toptotty - it's a really lovely place to hang out - but you are only allowed to stay a week and then they kick you out and onwards to week 3. Nice hey!
Have a great day!
Fantastic!!! through week 1 and into the 2nd week, i hope you manage aswell as i did, and you see the benefits i started to feel in my 2nd week in the same way. The folk in the week 2 forum seem a nice bunch too. Shame i didn't get to know them earlier in my quit
I never found this forum until i was already a little bit into my 3rd week.
What a discovery To think, i only googled 'sleep problems on nicotine patches' or something like that, and this was a chance find entirely.
What a lovely bunch of folk too, all under the general thumb of life and its challenges that it likes to throw at us, all facing this particular challenge however difficult or easy(for some) it may seem, its nice to share the experience rather than just keeping it to ourselves.
Personally i hate keeping silent about achievements especially something as important as this is to all of us, and isn't it nice to have the support and encouragement you need, when you need it from like minded real people who sooooooo understand
Respect you all, and wish you well.
Jase.
Well done on a hard week over and done with Trisha - Keep up the positive attitude

Jase: I too only found this website by googling "champix". What a find!
Unfortunately, Facebook and Twitter are being neglected because of it though. LOL I am now addicted to this rather than Nicotine.
What you said about sharing your achievements and experiences was nice to read, as after reading some older posts where people had complained about the "likes of us clogging up the forum with our trivial stuff" i felt wary about posting things, in case, I got a personal rebuke from them.
Must have been a bad day that one though, cos now I don't care. I enjoy reading everybody's posts from Day 1 to Year 1 and will post myself when I feel like it.
except that they don't and will never understand that this forum doesn't get clogged up with the mini-achievement posts, and no matter how they feel about it, its none of their business if it doesn't break forum rules. I saw the posts you are talking about, and i know who too, and tbh, my thoughts on those type of opinions are 'Stuff them!', they can choose to ignore the posts if they wish, and if they comment in such a way i find objectionable, i'll do one of two things.. either report the posting if i find its trolling (see the rules for description), or i'll add them to my ignore list in my user cp.
I like the posts on these forums, no matter how small an acheivement is, its still a positive post, and thats good in my book!
Hi Jase
Well said this forum is for us all to explain any way we're feeling how wer're getting on whatever
In future I'm not even going to try and sort it out I'm going to report rude posts
