Day 9 and struggling

Firstly just to introduce myself. I stopped smoking at 6pm on 25th June 2009.:) So far I have found it fairly easy with the use of patches. Last Tuesday I came across this forum and have been reading ever since. Today I seem to be struggling a little bit with my mind and constantly thinking about the evil weed.

So! I joined in the hope that i can get more encouragement from those that are going through and winning the battle. Also from those that have won. :D

As soon as I joined this forum my mood seems to of lifted already so thankyou.

Gary

Hello gary. hey listen i am so so proud of you Mr already.

this quit is going to test your MAN hood to say the least.

are you strong enough Gray?

well you have already managed 2 weeks so you have potential already.

this isn't going to be easy Gary.

i can't tell you the amount of times i've tried to quit in the past, it's pathetic.

do you want to be a loser smoker for the rest of your life?

or do you want to be a winner?

the smart man that smashed the strongest drug adiction in the world?

go Gary

Chrissie & jamie,

Thanks for the help today.

My MAN hood;) is still intact and since this mornings struggle my resolve has only intensified. I am determined to stick with the best decision I have ever made. I will never be a smoker again.

Welcome Garali!

You can do this - you have to be patient but you can free yourself from the evil weed forever.

Think Health, Wealth and Control.

Read lots of the posts on here and try some of the links recommended in many people's signatures.

I have been free for 6 months and believe me - if I can do it, anyone can!

You can do it!

Hi Gary,

Yes joining this forum I think really helps. It helps to see that there are other people dealing the same struggle and it helps to get tips from people who have really been there....not docs who have never been addicted to nicotine! It has honsestly been 1 of the things that has helped me continue to not smoke! :)Keep up the good work Gary!
