Hi Jamie
Well done you on 18 days that's great
Yes it does get much easier after a while Promise the craves and the urges will all disappear although you may get the occasional fleeting thought
When I was quitting I noticed I would always need to tense my jaw. At times it was horrible I had the constant urge to need to do it.
I've been smoke free for 7 months now, but was just wondering if any other smokers that are quitting have this.
I'm new around here but hope to be able to offer help and advice to others.
Have moments when I'm aware of tensing my jaw and grinding my teeth, however also noticed I did this in times of stress even when I still smoked. Am chewing a lot of gum, a friend suggested sugar free hard sweets - something to crunch on. Another suggestion i've been given is carrots and celery.
