4 months done!

I celebrate my 4th month today.

Its great when you forget to count! Someone asked me at how long today at work and I had to grab a calender to check, it was lovely to do that and even better to realise another goal had been achieved.

The theme at work this week (work in a school) is about habits and todays was

Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times.

I am just left with 2 bad habits now, boots and handbags! :D

Hi Dragon,

well done on four months, but, isn't this a bit of a crap message to be putting out in school ? As adults we understand the meaning, but surely for kids this just says ...quote ... Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world .. so starting is no big deal at all because quitting is dead easy .. at what age do kids 'get' irony?

Ahhh it doesnt stand alone as a quote. There are discussion points below each quote. I only spotted it when I was leaving this evening but I will have a proper look tomorrow just for you BB! It is a secondary school I work in and I would like to think that they will be getting irony at that age.

Hi Nog,

:D CONGRATULATIONS :D

Four months completed is just brilliant. And only TWO bad habits? If you're going to restrict yourself to only two, I guess they'd better be good ones! (For myself, I might choose a different!)

Stay strong.

Thank you for putting this down .. I'm in week 3 and am wondering if I will ever stop thinking about smoking. It's good to know that one day it WILL happen, even if it feels like it won't. I love reading posts where people have succeeded, it spurs me on. Well done and thank you for posting :)
