Cravings are in my mouth ... ??

OK, I get fag cravings, but it's the taste of them I want. I smoked rollies, I really liked the way they tasted (but not how they made everything else tasteLESS).

A craving for me starts with feeling it in the mouth, it's almost like my mouth is falling inwards, I get a slight metaliic taste in the mouth and my brain says "you need to smoke".

Anyone else go through this and any ideas what it may be?

I'm on day 2 of week 3, I know it will get slightly easier in week 4, I know I won't feel like this forever but I'm getting impatient

i think i know what u mean, i feel as if my mouth just doesn't feel right, i am with u on the metallic taste thing, it is just really odd.

hey guys... i know what u mean i didnt have a "funny" feeling in my mouth... but occassionally now and again i would get a metal taste in my mouth

im thinking its a way of your taste buds going crazy as all they have been used to is nicotine..... and dull food

Me too. Watery, metalic, just sucked on a 2p piece feeling. Happily it gets less and less. In fact, its not happened to me for a good while until now, when I have just started thinking about it!!

yeah...

because we are so used to having that tobacco in our mouth it feels very strange now.:cool:

don't know about you lot but i seem to forget all the great things i can sense now like smelling food, flowers, perfume, etc etc.

yeah i think i can deal with a little metallic taste lol.
