Hi guys, I'm on day two now and feeling ok. Its weird because a lot of people I know aren't aware that I started smoking again so I can't talk about it to people. This website has really helped me, quitsmokingonline.com/ and it has a certain hypnotherapy about it which Vantage76 was asking for. I really think that we are conditioned to believe that cigs help us feel happy, when they really don't, and this helped me to turn it on its head. Thanks NicFirth for the website.
Steph.

Well done on your day two. i know what you mean about not been able to tell people how you feel. All my lot think Ive been quit for 18 months but I relaped and kept it to myself HEHE. The only ones we are kidding is ourselfs. make this the one.xxx
Yeah its weird isn't it. I've nearly gone through a whole bottle of perfume, and god knows how much chewing gum cos I didn't want people to find out! At first it seemed quite exciting, like it did when I first started at 14. But then I realised that I was only cheating myself, and that although they might not be that happy if they knew I was smoking, it is actually my body and my life and my decision.
Aww big hug Steph, I'll bet you some of your family and friends knew you were smoking again lol. There's no disguising the reek of stale fags :p. Good luck this time :).

Haha yeah probably true! Its so nice now, I don't have to go through the whole routine of trying to get rid of the smell!!
I got a little bit upset last night and was going to have "just one" and then I realised I didn't need it. I managed to turn the craving on its head because I knew that blowing smoke into my lungs would not make the situation any better. What a revelation!! Haha. It just goes to show you how conditioning can alter your way of thinking.
