100 days today!!!!!!!

Ive been treated like a princess for the weekend. Got a new hair do on Friday, chopped my long hair into a long bob! Had a fab day on a c**** barge yesterday for my grans 88th birthday. went out dancing and grooving in manchester last night and stayed over in a posh hotel. Been out today and my boyf has treated me to a lovely new dress.

Wow!! Im a non smoker and every day I am glad that I choose to be a slave to nicotine.

I saw my cousin today who is 64 and a long term heavy smoker, she said oh are you not smoking anymore, why?? and when I looked at her yellow hair and teeth, her sallow skin and smelt that stale smoky smell I wanted to say because I dont want to end up like you but was obviously more polite.

for all the moods and moogs, those moments when you think I really want a cig now, those days/ weeks when you feel like you are missing something..... all that does pass, those ciggie thoughts fade away and you just feel free, clean and sooooo glad to have kicked this awful habit.

Hi Moog, Brilliant, another MMQ hitting 100 DAYS....... Congratulations, I am 2 days behind you. I think I am Tuesday but on the quit calendar says Wednesday.... But I think the quit calendar is days completed, so I gave up 9th March so will be Tuesday ha ha.....

Knew you'd do it!! I know what you're saying hun so far its been a journey but you have such a reward. Youve given yourself the best treat anyone could give themself and thats better health. I too used to look at older women and think thats definitely going to be me if i dont stop. My mum is in her fifties, never smoked and she hasnt got one wrinkle, she looks gorgeous, everyone thinks shes my sister! Keep pampering yourself hun, youre worth it!!
