Day six! Just a question...

I woke today to my day six without a puff.

I really feel anxious and desparate for a smoke every now and then... but I keep up my determination. Also... things are being sometimes "strange" with my fiancé. We discuss a lot, we seem to be very distant, I feel like she is always mad with me about something... And I can't help but answer back when she starts a discussion. Can this be happening just "in my mind"? I Is it possible that is ME and no her being "different"?

Thanks for any feedback.

Hey Jigbus,

My boyfriend still smokes, although not as much as i ever did! I felt a major lack of support from him at the start because he didnt think i was capable!!

Now i find myself very short tempered a lot of the time, i can be very moody!! Im trying to stay very busy, so i enjoy cleaning and cooking because its a distraction, yet i get angry with him because "IM CLEANING.... AGAIN"!! i know how silly it is!

In my case i know its me, we have a very good relationship, but i do think he is getting a little impatient with my moods, and he always asks why im so angry with him! I cant reply! I just dont know right now!

Maybe she is feeling a little jelous because u have quit! And perhaps she wants too, but is taking her feelings out on you! And perhaps she didnt think you could come so far!

I hope it works out for you! It could be a mix of both your feelings and hers and obviously your gonna change because your stopping smoking.

Keep up the good work.... (im day 7, really proud)

Love L.J xxxxxxx

Hi jigbus :D

Well done on 6 days quit that's great

I think this could well be just the way you're both reacting to your quit, you both have to get used to a new you after all, but you can both adjust to it, you just have to be patient with each other

I hope this makes sense to you

Love
