hi everyone, did anyone else go through this jealousy thing, everytime i see someone on the telly smoking or pass someone on the street whos smoking im feeling really jealous of them. was watching sex and the city and sarah jessica parker smoking and decided to see if she smoked in real life (how sad) and found out she does, and now feel angry that shes making it look so enjoyable right in front of my face. suppose the answer is to stop watching it.

Hi Jacqueline, I can honestly say hand on heart no I don't feel jealous, I just think to myself how they must stink.

No I can say no I don't feel anything when I see smokers puffing away. It makes me feel glad that I'm a non smoker even more. It is just the nicotine monster playing tricks with your head chin up and you are right stop watching it.

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Well done on your quit so far, to answer your question I think most of us go through a period of jealousy at some point but it will pass very quickly OK
