It's my 5 month Smokaversity today.

Never thought I would get this far but reading here every day makes me want to see new days added on all the time. Thank you for telling your stories it helps every day.

Fiona - Thanks for your good wishes. Yes this month was easier. I seem to be hesitant in saying I will never smoke again, don't really know why, perhaps I am so into the one day at a time, but I must say I honestly do not want to smoke again. I can still remember that awful sitting outside in the rain, snow and anything else that the weather had to hand out, looking for places to smoke, oh I do not want to go there again. In my final days of smoking I coughed a lot so I stuck to home or places where I was on my own as I knew people would be looking at the silly person smoking with the dreadful cough. How can we treat ourselves like that - it's a mad addiction.

Marg - thanks for hug, got it. If I drink all that champers I could be on here tonight talking a lot of old rubbish so look out. Thanks again.

Congratulation on 5 months, Jackie!! Well done It is a mad addiction and it makes me so pissed to have those days when it's not so easy.... being on here helps for sure though!! Glad month 5 was easier for you!! Almost 1/2 a year for you!!!

Congrats on you 5 months that fab work. i myself dont feel like I will never smoke again but never crave anymore. Also the feeling of wanting to smoke are very far apart. But just for today i will not smoke. You go girl.xxxxxxxxxx
